Overview

This Equality and Diversity Training course equips healthcare staff with the knowledge and skills to treat everyone fairly and with respect. It is 2-3 hours long and is made for all healthcare workers, including carers, nurses, and admin staff. Participants will also learn why it is important to include everyone and ensure no one is left out. The goal is to help staff work well together and provide the best support for all service users

Through our small group discussions, class activities, and examples, you will learn about unconscious bias (treating someone differently without meaning to), respecting different cultures, and how to support people from all backgrounds.

This course equips you to create a kind and fair workplace. It helps teams work well together and helps patients feel safe and respected.

You can take the course online (virtual) or in person. Upon successfully completing this course, you will receive a level 2 Equality and Diversity Awareness certificate.
