Automated External Defibrillation (AED) & CPR Training

Overview

The AED and CPR Training course is aimed at teaching participants the key skills and knowledge needed to react effectively in emergencies involving cardiac arrest and choking. This practical training focuses on the correct methods for performing CPR on adults, children, and babies, helping participants to confidently give life-saving chest compressions and rescue breaths.

Additionally, the course also teaches the safe and effective use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), an important tool for restarting the heart during sudden cardiac arrest.

Participants will learn to recognise the signs of heart emergencies, check the scene for safety, and follow clear steps to improve survival chances.

Through hands-on practice led by our expert trainers, the course focuses on making quick decisions and working as a team in stressful situations. This training is ideal for healthcare workers, workplace responders, and community members, and it meets national standards and guidelines set by relevant organisations.

On completion of the half-day AED and CPR Course, learners will receive a Level 2 Certificate approved by Skills for Care and CPD.

This course can only be booked for groups, ensuring that your team learns together and is fully prepared to respond in emergencies.
