The course will be interactive with classroom discussion, Q & A and practical exercises.  You will develop confidence in handling medications in various healthcare settings.

The Medication Handling Course helps staff learn more about giving medicines safely. It covers different ways to give medicines, the routes (like by mouth or injection), the 6 R’s (right person, right medicine, right dose, right time, right route, right record) and how to avoid medication errors.

The training also addresses the importance of clear communication with patients and healthcare teams to promote positive outcomes. Upon completion, participants will be better prepared to manage medication administration responsibilities in the workplace.
